We are dog loving fosters, grads and supporters who formed a Lions Club and Trust Foundation.

We are dedicated to raising money and awareness in support of Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, so that Canadians living with disabilities may enjoy greater safety and independence.

We  are called Green Capes after the green jackets that puppies in training wear on the way to becoming Super Pups.

Annual Super Pup Dog Guide Calendar Fundraiser

Together we have raised over $300,000 for Dog Guides.

Every year, the Green Capes Lions Club produces its stunningly beautiful Green Capes Dog Guide Puppy Calendar, which features the adorable puppies who are in training today to be tomorrow’s Superheroes.

Calendars are sold by members of the Green Capes Lions Club, foster families, graduates and supporters, with all proceeds from the sales going to support Dog Guides.

Our Passion is Supporting

Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides

LFCDG empowers Canadians living with disabilities to navigate their world with confidence and independence, by providing a Dog Guide at no cost and supporting them in their journey together. Located in Oakville, Ontario they are the only school to train Dog Guides in seven distinct programs. Each Dog Guide is $35,000 to train and place. The Foundation relies on donations and does not receive any government funding.
